The-Red-Dove

So yesterday, my school was in lockdown from 2:45 to about 4:45, and then we had to wait in the gym until about 6:00 because of a report of an armed person outside of the building.  I was stuck in a small, overheating room with about seven other people.  It eventually grew to smell of sweat, and unfortunately, urine.  I guess one of my 'cell-mates' really had to go. Turned out it was just a dude with an air-soft gun, no danger really.  But still, what a day!

So as I was getting a ride to school, little Russ came wheeling by on his little Spiderman scooter.  My ride leans his head out the window and says 'Race ya!' and starts speeding off. Russ stares after him, stamps his foot down on the sidewalk and says "That's not fair!  You have more wheels!" So it doesn't matter that a car has a gas powered engine, electric power, and an experienced driver, what's important is the wheels.   And this is why I love children.
